Hi all,
I have an existing DirectAcceess Server and would like to add a second server as multisite configuration. I’ve prepared a second server on my remote location (different Active Directory site) as follows:
- Configured network adapters (one internal adapter, one external adapter with NAT address)
- Added required certificates (IP-HTTPS (public wildcard) and computer certificate from internal CA)
- Added static routs for my internal resources
- Installed Remote Access Role
Afterwards I enabled multisite configuration on existing DirecAccess Server successfully. The problem occurs when I try to add my new server as an entry point. On the first page of the wizard I type in the FQDN of my new server, give an entry point name and when clicking next it says “Remote Access is already configured on the server”.
As I said above, I did absolutely no DirectAccess configuration on my new DA server, just added the server role. What could be the reason for that message and what could be done to solve it?
Alternatively, I tried to add the second entry point by using PowerShell, but here I get the error message “A connection to remote computer [name] cannot be established”. A connection issue cannot be the reason. Both servers can communicate without problems, there is no firewall and other stuff between.
Any idea why the wizard says that DA is already configured on the new server and what to do to add the entry point successfully?
Thanks in advance!
Best regards
Sebastian
