Direct access is setup on Windows Server 2012 R2 the DA console is showing green across the board.

But windows 8.1 clients fail to connect - we have Corporate Wifi in place which deploys a certificate to the machine (Client Auth) i have since removed this cert and the Wi-Fi profile but the error still persists.
the Wi-Fi connection shows `connected` - and workplace shows `Connecting`then the Wi-Fi connection goes to limited and then we have no internet from the client.
any advise or direction would be great.
