From the test pilot users of Surface Pro tablets that are connecting to our Server 2012 DA box, I am hearing a consistent issue raised with the re-connection time for DA. If the user sleeps the unit and moves from one area to another, the WiFi connection establishes immediately, but it can take anywhere from up to 2 - 5 minutes before the DA connection reestablishes. If you look at the GUI it just shows a state of "connecting..."
My telecomm guys are telling me that nothing is being blocked and both the IP-HTTPS and Teredo connections should work. I seem to see a mixture of IP-HTTPS and Teredo connections when I'm looking at current client connections on the server so I know both are available.
Is there anything that I could be looking at to tweak on the client or the server to alter this reconnection time? My assumption is that it should not take this long to reconnect.
