We are installing GFI Vipre virusscanning on our customers pc's. Forefront endpoint detection does not "see" this scanner, and the endpoint is not allowed to use local devices in rdp sessions. The scanner is detected by the windows xp security center, en the scanner is up to date. Is their a way to manually add the scanner to Forefront UAG so it is able to detect it on the endpoint? Or are the different scanners characteristics embedded into the endpoint client software pushed by the UAG?
