Unable to access application using specific port over DA connection.

Hello,

I am trying to use a Vmware application which uses a specific port.

It works in office and not when connected via DA client.

Its a Win 2012 DA server, with 2 nic's for internal and external network with Win FW configured accordingly.

How will that traffic come to firewall, will it be under name of something like IPsec and automcatically allowed
or do I need to open that port on incoming /outgoing Win firewall on DA server for that specific application?
