UAG, Host Address Translation and crossdomain.xml

Hi,

I am helping a customer of mine to publish two of their internal web applications through Forefront UAG.

I have configured a HTTPS trunk and named it uag.example.com. I have published both applications and managed to get SSO to work between them.

Now to the problem. One of the applications uses a Flash based video player which is loading content from another domain. Flash by design is looking for a file named crossdomain.xml in the root folder of the domain to know if it is allowed to get content from other domains. It must exist in the root folder.

The HAT function in UAG makes the URL:s come back signed. For example:

https://uag.example.com/uniquesig74d6d34a777da087b93371604b49a25a/uniquesig0/crossdomain.xml

This URL is not supported by flash because crossdomain.xml has to be in the root folder.

https://uag.example.com/crossdomain.xml

Two questions:

  1. Can I configure UAG to return just the crossdomain.xml URL not signed?
  2. Can I configure UAG to not require authentication for just this file?

Best regards

Daniel
