Direct Access & Any Connect

Hi

We have set up a Direct Access server up to test the stability of it; but out primary connection into the office is through Cisco AnyConnect client configured on a Cisco ASA 5510 using LDAP. 

What we would like to do is have the Cisco AnyConnect client as a backup to the Direct Access and vice versa. But what we have found it that if both are enabled on one system they do not function. 

Any one have any suggestions to how this can be solved or if it can be solved
